Imagine If...

The launch film for Modyfi, a browser-based design tool combining image editing, AI-assisted workflows and real-time collaboration.
Project Details
Modyfi set out to be a new kind of design tool, browser-based, AI-native, built for the way multidisciplinary designers actually work. It launched with a deep feature set, and the brief for the film was to introduce something technically ambitious without burying the viewer in a tour of menus.
I defined the visual direction and led the animation. Rather than demo the interface screen by screen, the film treats the product as a place you step into: the command bar floats inside fully realised worlds, prompts open out into landscapes, and the core actions, generate, select, refine, play out as moments inside those environments. Crisp interface beats are cut against lush terrain and abstract material studies, holding the line between a real product and the imagination it unlocks.
Every environment in the film was built and rendered in 3D, from the dreamlike landscapes to the material studies and interface environments.

The goal wasn't to explain everything, it was to show how it felt to use. Rather than list tools, the film moved through interaction and flow, letting the product's logic unfold through movement and making a deep, capable piece of software feel approachable. The film became part of Modyfi's early communication toolkit, in the period before the company was acquired by Figma.

Throughout the project, our design studio leveraged innovative design solutions to address the unique challenges posed by extreme cold weather conditions. From advanced insulation technology to strategic ventilation features, every aspect of the Arctic Explorer Winter Jacket was meticulously crafted to optimize performance and functionality.
