Project Details

For Kygo's world tour and festival headline shows, working with Comix, I designed an undersea clip pack built to be programmed across multiple tracks, modular content that could be re-triggered and recombined live across the show.

I also created visuals for Firestone, a timecoded sequence that closed the set. It runs as a single narrative, following the track's highs and lows: a cracked, fire-spitting ground and a volcano, palm trees, a shift into night and an aurora across the sky, then an eruption to flying magma and streaming lava.

The two halves of the work did different jobs. The undersea pack was built to flex, designed to be programmed and recombined across tracks. Firestone was the opposite: a fixed, timecoded sequence mapped tightly to the song, the landscape building and erupting in step with the music, so the visuals peaked exactly when the track did to close the set.
