The Repowered campaign for CAT Footwear, reintroducing the brand through the hyperreal.
Project Details
The Repowered campaign reintroduced CAT Footwear through a hyperreal visual language, moving away from product photography toward stylised, sharp imagery. I was brought onto the project by George Dyson and Harry Butt to develop the CGI stills, while the wider team focused on animation and motion.
The work leaned into painterly, subtly disrupted environments, product worlds that felt heightened and a little exaggerated. Rather than chase strict realism, the footwear and its surroundings were both treated expressively, materials pushed past the real.

Role
I made the hero CGI stills: scene layout, composition and lighting. The aim was a fully hyperreal image, the footwear rendered as sharp and heightened as the world around it, so product and environment read as one stylised whole rather than a real shoe dropped into a CGI set. Bold and experimental, but always clear on the product.
