Voltaire Las Vegas Residency

Kylie Minogue's Las Vegas residency at Voltaire, balancing pop spectacle with cabaret intimacy. Screen content built as part of the venue

Project Details
For Kylie Minogue's Las Vegas residency at Voltaire, creative direction was led by Aries Moross in partnership with Rob Sinclair, with stage design by Derek McLane. The residency brought a full-scale production to a purpose-built venue inside The Venetian Resort.
The rear projection screen became a defining visual element within the space, treated as part of the stage rather than a backdrop. Movement, colour and pacing were developed to sit in dialogue with choreography and lighting, supporting the performance.
Working with Studio Moross, I developed and delivered content for Spinning Around, Slow, In Your Eyes and Where The Wild Roses Grow, ensuring the visuals enhanced the intimacy of the venue while still maintaining impact.

Design Insight
The content formed part of a tightly integrated live experience. Rather than play behind the performance, the screen built a space around it. Each track became its own world: Slow set amongst an ethereal forest, Spinning Around built from radiating gold architecture, Where The Wild Roses Grow held on a single red rose, and In Your Eyes drew the audience down a deep perspective grid.
Distinct worlds, each with its own mood and energy, responsive to the shifts in the set yet theatrical without taking over, leaving the stage to Kylie and the live band.
